Poland and WSGE plays an active part in the Bologna Process

Foreign students coming to Poland can expect a most attractive and diversified education offer meeting the high European standards.

The diploma awarded to them upon graduation is recognized not only Europe-wide but also in most countries of the world.

Owing to the introduction of three-stage education as well as the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), both Polish students and foreigners studying in Poland remain fully mobile and can continue education elsewhere in the European Union without any problems.

How does the Bologna Process work?
The Bologna Process, launched with the Bologna Declaration, of 1999, is one of the main voluntary processes at European level, as it is nowadays implemented in 47 states, which define the European Higher Education Area (EHEA).
As the main objective of the Bologna Process was meant to ensure more comparable, compatible and coherent systems of higher education in Europe.
