Hotel and tourism management


First degree studies last no shorter than six semesters. Number of hours should not be less than 2000. Number of ECTS credits (European Credit Transfer System) should not be less than 180.


Course lasts for 3 years / 6 academic semester. One year of study costs 2800 Euros (in total courses cotst 8400 Euros for 3 years).


Internship should last at least 240 hours.

Rules and forms of internship are determined by the unit of the university responsible for leading the education process.


1. Teaching programs should include courses in physical education - 30 hours, which can be attributed to 1 ECTS credits; foreign languages ​​- at 120 hours, which should be assigned to  5 ECTS; Information Technology - 30 hours, which should be attributed to 2 ECTS points.

2. Teaching programs should include humanistic or economic content or any other content humanistic expanding humanistic knowledge of not less than 60 hours, which can be attributed to not less than 3 credits.

3. Teaching programs should include courses in the field of intellectual property protection.

4. The training should cover all the basic content and directional content from 9 areas  of education, including: organizational behavior, project management, human resource management, management, quality management and information technology.

5. For the preparation for the final exam student receives 15 ECTS points (including  the preparation of the thesis, it it’s included in the program of studies)


Knowledge of English language is required.


Grades can be assigned in letters as a range:

5.0 – excellent

4.5 – very good

4.0 – good

3.5 – satisfactory +

3.0 – satisfactory

2.0 – unsatisfactory


The Bologna Process, launched with the Bologna Declaration, of 1999, is one of the main voluntary processes at European level, as it is nowadays implemented in 47 states, which define the European Higher Education Area (EHEA). Poland is including this process.

As the main objective of the Bologna Process since its inception in 1999, the EHEA was meant to ensure more comparable, compatible and coherent systems of higher education in Europe. 
Between 1999 - 2010, all the efforts of the Bologna Process members (were targeted to creating  the European Higher Education Area, that became reality with the Budapest-Vienna Declaration  of March, 2010. The next decade will be aimed at consolidating the EHEA.

A graduate should have a theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of management and related sciences regarding the meaning, patterns and problems of organizational performance of - enterprises, public institutions and security structures of the state. They should have ability to recognize, diagnose and solve problems in human resources management, as well as in property, finance and information management. They should be prepared to implement the basic functions of management processes (ventures) in the organization of an economic, administrative type or in public safety.

A graduate should know a foreign language at B2 level of the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) and know the specialist language in the area of Management.

Graduates should be prepared to work as specialists of organization and management or manager/ head of middle management in companies or manager / team leader in the state security structures, and be able to run their own business. Graduates should possess the skills of effective communication, negotiation, persuasion and teamwork. Graduates should be prepared to take graduate (master) studies.
